    touratech sump guard install instructions

Hi. Recently got touratech sump guard (used) on ebay. Can someone give me install instructions for it? Or some photos or explanations how to mount lower part of guard to bike? There are two holes on lower part of guard, and I have no idea how to use them. Thanks.
    EDIT: bike is xl650v4

    Hi Mate

On the lower part of the sump guard , under the engine, you have 2 holes , you can just see my bike which has the guard fitted,.

There is 2 P clips, under the gear lever.. and brake lever on other side..

These P/clips are large enough to go round the frame rails and attach with bolts to the holes in the sump guard.

The P clips are rubber coated.. like this one ..

If you have not got the clips, these easily available on internet or local car parts shop . Measure the diameter of the frame rails,. and get yourself a couple of stainless steel nuts and bolts .. sorted..

If you need and more help , installing .. just shout .

Thank you all. That is what I was looking for!
One more question: Do you have some spacers on other mount points? I read in given link that there is also used some 3 and 4mm spacers.

    No Problem ..

The spacers.. Yes mine came with those spacers..

The spacers, go between sump guard and the attaching arms on each side .
And the 3mm behind the front connecting point..

If you can not get spacers. maybe some measured nuts ,, or SS washers would work..

I also used SS fixings instead of supplied bolts..

    1. Remove old guard
    2. Offer up replacement if holes do not fit drill new ones
    3. If screws too long use hacksaw and cut to size
    4. No where to mount, then use Glue.
