Can I draw upon XRVer's collective wisdom please?
Can anyone suggest a source for stainless bolts for my brake master cyliners ('92 'alp 600) as the existing rusty ones are crying out for replacement?
Thanks all
Nick

Are these the mounting bolts or the banjo bolts?

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Sorry - made me realise how unclear my original post was....
These are the 'weeny' (note use of very technical description) bolts that hold the master cylnder cover on
am about to fit stainless hoses (with stainless banjo bolts) and stainless bleed nipples (which are sitting at home wsiting to be fitted) and thought I'd go the whole hog...
cheers

In that case there's a few places you could try -
Stagonset Stainless Nuts and Bolts, Screws and Fasteners
and
Stig's Stainless Fasteners
I'm sure that there's plenty of others too. I haven't used either of these suppliers - yet - but have heard good things of them.
Have fun.

I've used Stagonset to buy various stainless fasteners, including bolts for the brake fluid reservoir cover for my AT (I think it was M4 x 12 socket head countersunk screws, 6p each).
They seem fast and reliable, reasonable postage costs (various invoices show prices of about £1.50 to £3 for orders up to £20 total). Also their web site is excellent for showing you exactly what you're buying, even down to exact dimensions of the various types of washers.
Their prices are a bit high per fastener, but then they sell you just what you need and charge "at cost" delivery, to I reckon it's excellent value for someone like me who buys anything from about 3-4 up to a max of 20 or so things at a time.
