TA700 - Forks boots causes it to run hot?

Has anyone here fitted fork boots to a TA700?

I have and the bike seems to run quite a bit hotter since. Could fork boots affect air flow over the radiator that much?

Well, hot or not, it looks very well at the beach.

Looking good. Fork gaiters would be my first mod if/when I get a 700.

Well, Rossi back in 2008 complained about higher temperatures with the enormous Ohlins forks he had fitted to his M1.

I don't think that our humble TAs have these problems though...

They might have an effect... if the radiators normally get a clean flow of air into them, is it possible the fork boots break up the flow enough to cause turbulence behind the fork boots, and in front of the rads, which reduces air flow through the rads ?? ( a bit like riding too close behind a lorry - instead of a steady flow of air, you get more buffeting )

    Just a thought
