RE:Honda Base Plate

Just bought a 650 Transalp and I am wondering if anybody can tell me which top box will suit the Honda base plate?

I reckon they are all Givi as the 700 comes with Honda branded Givi gear.

I attached a givi hot plate for quick topbox removal to my 650 honda plate.

sometimes have them on ebay along with the top box

I am pretty sure that a Honda Base Plate will only fit a Honda Top Box.
Not 100% , as depends on the plate.. If you post a picture of it.

I have seen quite a few honda top boxes on ebay. Non colour coded S/H £50

Or you could pick a NON Honda one up, including base plate.

The Honda base plate is different from the Givi plate.
If you have a genuine GIVI base plate then a Givi topbox will fit, it will depend on if it is a MonoKey or a MonoLock as they are different.
David Silvers do a Honda top box for £85 and mine came with the base plate.

definately no givi will fit my honda plate. givi might make them for honda but they arent stupid, they want you to buy the box from them.

but if you happen to have a givi box, plates are cheap enough brand new, and its only a few bolts to change them round. the locks are interchangeable too so you can keep the "keyed alike" feature.
