    quick release fuel line connector

    hi all,
    just done me plugs and new airfilter so had to take tank off and fairing and radiator.

    In the process the ***** fuel line from tank to pump snapped probably dueto age and winter riding managed a bodge with plastic connector.

    But realy need a better solution for tank removal so though of these;

    Motorworks - BMW Motorcycle Spares - Products

    any one got/use them and what they like for failed "O" ring washers ssem a good Idea AND saves a lot of greif .

    Also fitted new clutch cable and managed to melt cable due to bad routing so not having a good Day still you live and learn and also have a few spare/discarded bits off the Alp.

    They look like a good idea but Fuel pipe is not very expensive so buy a length, then you could fit it so the pipe does not need to be removed.
    YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    oh you mean "walk round with the tank under one arm like a colostomy bag".

    I know what you mean but would prefer to have tank well away from me and me tools they have a habit of "taking flight all of there own" when thing aint working out right.

    Well in that case get a longer piece of pipe, If you get two connectors you could make a link pipe for use when you need to balance the carbs.
