    ta700 position light

I might be having a senior moment here but I can't for the life of me think what the purpose of "position light" is on my TA700.
It's the little 5w bulb that sits inside the headlight unit to one side of the two headlight bulbs. It's on all the time the ignition is on.
    Anyone got any suggestions?

Most probably adherence to the regulations in order to be homologated as road legal...

    Re: ta700 position light

There used to be a position on the ignition switch for parking lights which turned it on. I have removed the one on my 650, bulb blew and I have two bullet lights replacing it.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
