    top box electrics

scrounged some deutsch waterproof connectors to make connecting the brake light on the top box quick when putting box on/off.

They look a nightmare in the bag but are pretty simple

I used shrink wrap tubing and a grommet to get through rear fairing and to brake light circuit.

Female connector mounted on rear fairing hidden behind rack. Looks neat and works a treat

An excellent bodge and a tasty-looking bike. Strangely rusty around the collector box though. I should have a look at that before it costs money.

Collector box not rusty but has gone an odd colour

Thinking of painting it black if I source a decent heat proof paint, I think the discolouration probably beats peeling paint

    Cheers
