Rear Brake light wiring

can any one help me out on the wiring colours on a 700 transalp?

I'm trying to wire in a smidsy brake light flashing modulator and I need to connect into the 12v in for the break light and not sure which ones which as Ive left my volt meter at work!!

Ive got black/grey..green/yellow and green to choose from.

Green is the ground.
Black/Brown is the +12V for the tail light.
Green/Yellow is the +12V for the brake light.

Workshop manual pages 22-3 (XL700V) and 22-4 (XL700VA).

Are you sure it's Black/Gray?

Yep its definatly black with grey stripe on mine.

right now to get it wired up!!
