    Clutch Vibration?

Hi all, I have recently bought a 1998 TA 600 from a dealer which has only 8500 miles on the clock. It has a slight whiring noise from the engine and vibration through the bars at tickover which increases with revs, which totally disappear when the clutch lever is pulled in and the engine quietens down, is this normal ? The bike also makes a loud sort of shushing noise when opening the throttle on the move which seems engine related not just the usual chain/sprocket rustle. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Quick update, having had the carbs balanced the vibration and noise is still there, but unlike my old Dneprs clutch rattle this one disappears only when the clutch lever is pulled in. Could this be a bearing failure of some sort? Having owned bikes for some 20 years this one has me totally perplexed!
