    Tyres again - newbee apologies

A bit sort of after the horse has left the stable. I have just fitted new conti trail attacks to my TA650 rebuilt wheels - please tell me that they are a reasonable tyre to start with - just getting back into bikes after a few years off and decided that this would be an excellent return to two wheels. Initially not planning offroad but potentially europe next year.

Anyway, to answer your question - the Conti Trail Attacks should be fine on your bike. I've not used them myself, but I've not heard any bad things about them.

As you may have found, there are as many opinions of tyres for the Transalp as there are Transalp Owners.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Never tried the 'attacks' but BT45's have the edge in my opinion they will be ace for your Europe trip....

I've just fitted a set of Trail attacks to my 700 ALP ............. WOW !! excellent. A big huge massive difference over the OEM Trailwings. The 700 has different size wheels to your 650 but I can think of no reason why they would not work on the 650 sizes. They get a big thumbs-up from me.
    2011 Triumph Tiger 800 - "Black Pussy" - MMMM Nice !!!
    2000 Suzuki DRZ400S - "Ol' Yella" - very bright
    2011 Peugeot V-Clic 50cc - "Scoot" - It's my wife's, an enjoyable ride.

    I have a house , but I can't guarantee it's safe !!
