TA700 Arrow Exhaust in Black
Hi All,
Finally got round to taking some images of my new Arrow Exhaust that was a warranty upgrade from the usual faulty/rusty OEM one.
Fairly happy with it, not too noisy but with baffles in, it does sound more fruity without noise levels increasing. Have yet taken the baffles out for the fullon noise thing.
Fitting was done by the dealer but he said it was simple enough with the only issue being the pannier rack.
If youve got a Givi Pannier rack, it will need some serious adjusting...mainly welding to fit. This first image shows 2 small welds on the bar below the exhaust exit, where a small additional piece of tubing was welded into place to allow the can to fit, otherwise it touched/pushed on the rack.
Now I didnt do this myself so cant offer any assistance other than to say a big thanks to CJ Balls Honda in Norwich as their ace 'Apprentice of the Year' mechanic, did all of this off his own bat....even Chris didnt know what he was upto til it was done...and I was pushing for it to be collected prior to TLD and said dont fit it if the rack doesnt fit! The kids amazing....voted best in EUROPE not just UK....drop your bike in if your close....organise a decent loan/demo bike if your not and take in the Norfolk Broads if your not local.. its worth it.
I love the black finish of the can as it matches the look of the bike rather than a big silver thing I have to polish after every commute. Does churn out the heat a bit but not so much a pillion would be put off it, just more noticible than OEM.
Another option for the catalogue, more expensive than the brand thats been mentioned on here a lot, which I probably wouldve bought if this wasnt a warranty claim.
