    Bikevis Bullets

Fitted a pair of Bikevis bullets to my Alp earlier today and am impressed with the improved visability it has given it, especially as they only cost 16 quid. If it helps the dozy car drivers I usually encounter on my way to work each morning see me I will be well chuffed.

They look to be very bright, do they come with mountings or did you make the brackets?

They are noticeable in daylight but obviously much more prominent in poor light/dusk/nightime when your bike is less visable. I made the brackets from some u clamps I had kicking around and wired them direct to my parking light circuit. They are self adhesive which is very sticky.

They are good aren't they! I noticed a difference in car drivers reactions when I fitted mine, well worth it. One of mine failed a few weeks ago and they sent me a replacement pair with no quibbles at all. First class service.

I made brackets from some thin ali strip I got from B&Q. Wrapped it round a socket extension bar to form it, drilled a hole for a nut and bolt to clamp it. Opened it up to fit to my crash bars and then clamped it on.
