Hi and thanks for looking.
i bought a 1995 transalp 600 recently. It had a number of issues[which was why it was cheap!]the motor was good, but it was all a bit tatty around the edges.i have sourced some better plastics ,and a more useable exhaust through the esteemed pages of this forum.
Having talked to a few people i know there has been a problem with corrosion on the wheels, and when i scraped the crud a way,i foud the signs of corrosion on both wheel rims. Now the question is,which is the most economical way to sort out the problem?I don't fancy riding the bike having seen one corroded wheel rim that scared the *!$# out of me. The average price to rebuild with new rims and spokes seems to work out at about £450 for the pair.A lot of dosh for me at the moment!!Has anyone got any good ideas/scources they can suggest. Many thanks,Paul![]()
