    annoying scratches

    My blue ta650 was blown over a few wks ago,[fierce plymouthian winds] and the right side front blue fairing now has some deep scratches. i wondered if anyone new a step by step guide to a decent repair. Thanks!

    There are a few good body shops in Plymouth that could help out with this for not a lot of £££

    Talk to Phil Cook at Cook Motorcycles, he's got lots of good contacts to help with stuff like this

    thanks for the advice,may go down the diy route,if all fails Phil Cook is only down the road.
    Ps transalps are indeed a rare breed down these parts!!

    Hi blueflame..

    For what its worth my opnion is diy unless you are good aint worth the trouble for a scratch as Ta650 blue is base coat and clear lacqure and sure he blue is special ...I coul dnever match mine unless it was £20 spray can + lacqure..

    and then it the cool air that causes blooms this time of year..Have you thought of lite smooth down with wet and dry then a sticker over the top especiallyif you match it with one the other side.

    Annoying scratches Good Title Boys. I had one once, put some cream on it and it went in a few days.
