Could anyone tell me what the recommended service intervals are for the 700 Transalp. My present 600 requires an oil change every 8000 miles. Is this the same for the 700?
Also, what sort of mileage are you getting from the 700? i'm not a mad rider so general fuel consumption figures are what l'm looking for.

Yes the oil change is recommended every 8000miles/12months.

As for mpg, I have got as much as 62 on long journeys but generally get 55ish.

Gold 700 TA, Touring screen,Heated grips, Givi Panniers & Top box, Centre Stand, Bar Risers Fenda Extenda and Scott Oiler. So Far (still hoping for some Crash Bars)......... Oh and nearly forgot, A wife with a Hog , Back in the saddle after some spinal carpentry

MPG --- depends whereabouts you are, between ramsey hairpin and the creg you should average about 17MPG
