    Hi BJUK,

    Thanks for the message and info. I'll be interested to see if I have any more problems now the pipes are breathing nicely. Liked the simple and logical idea of releasing the petrol cap if it happens again. That would surely fix the issue if it was caused by some kind of vacuum.

    Annnd one last thing..... If it happens again, trying rocking the kill switch on and off a few times and then try and start it. Obviously your problem sounds like a temperature problem, or air block, or fuel block problem, but a couple of times my HISS light hasn't come on and rocking the kill switch cured it; probably a tad of corrosion or condensation.
