My TA is almost ready to ride

This bike was stolen and the plastic wrecked so nothing was lost stripping it down. I go on short day trips on back roads and forest gravel roads, so I do not need all the stuff the stock bike has on it. On the single lane gravel roads, one must go around blind corners on the extreme right hand side, so heavy duty brush guards are needed with folding mirrors. Heavy duty radiator guards are good for hitting the brush when passing a pick up. One must be ready to ride the bike into the ditch to avoid a head on. Rocks are not a problem, so I don't have much for a skid plate. I may add sides to it later. Lots of stuff probably needs to be done over. but I wanted to get it ready for an event coming up soon.

That stripped down Alp looks good to me

Don't know how much weight it saves, but it looks like a lot!

    OH I LIKE A LOT
Did you make the radiator guards yourself? Also where did you get the front fairing and tail from as they don't look like the old alp stuff
They call him the "quiet one "

Very nice, like the striped down rear end lots, very slinky.

That's one very cool Alp. Nice use of alloy!

What make are the mirrors? I'm looking for some folding ones for my AT, but the only choices I've found so far are Touratech or Double take. I like the look of yours!

Re: My TA is almost ready to ride

Sorry to be late on replying. I am out of town and have limited internet connection. The weight of the bike went from 420 lbs to 380 lbs. The front and rear lights are UFO brand. The mirrors are Malcom Smith. They are not much for actually seeing something but they get me by legally. They are cheap plastic, $19 each, I think. There is a company in Idaho USA that makes a high quality handguards with beautiful fold in mirrors - $ 220+. Could not do that. Sorry I don't remember the name. I made the radiator guards out of aluminum. The square, open stuff came that way.
