hi , aero trim or other ?

    hi every one ,

i've just fitted a genuine honda touring screen on my ta 650 and am getting quiet a lot of buffeting around my face area also very noisy , i,m not a tall rider just 5'10 (average i guess) ,has anyone tryed a aero trim or an other type of extension / attachement to help with the problem, not really wanting to splash out on a differant screen just to find out the problem is still there .

please help as the buffeting is driving me crazy !!

Not on a transalp but I have fitted one on my 1150GS and it got rid of the buffeting around my helmet nicely

I have an MRA screen with the small adjustable spoiler fitted to my Africa Twin - it is superb - Visor up at 70mph easy - expensive but worth it. They now sell just the spoiler bit.

Go to the MRA website - I think that is where I saw it - very recently - it wasn't cheap if I remember but it is a good bit if kit and is adjustable on the brackets supplied.

I also have a TA650 with a Honda "Touring Screen" I've fitted a Heroblobs Aerotrim (last year) and find it makes a big difference with much less noise and buffeting, I'm 6'2"" and wear an open face helmet with a Bob Heath Flip Visor. In fine weather, I can ride with the visor half-open in comfort up to about 65/70 mph.
