    Show us your Transalp

Guess seeing as how I keep getting them it could be fun to have a thread dedicated to the Transalp.
Maybe some of your fav pics to be immortalised on XRV
My first was my Longest Day Day bike the first JoG to LE

My second was a cheapy , but still took me around the Pyrenees and a few UK tours without a hitch. Had to love its Arrow can

3rd one was bought but never really used, sort of came and went. It really was so mint I had doubts about using it for what I wanted

And so the 4th, and have a certain fondness for this one, but you know me

Some of my fav pics mind

So a chance for some great Transalp shots

Well I must say I come to love my little alp. The amount of abuse these things can take is amazing. This one is my first one and must say she is a tuft cookie

She started off at this colour

But now is more stealth like

Most of the time she is more like this

They call him the "quiet one "

    Re: Show us your Transalp

This is my 1992 XL600V with about 73.000 km:

I've swapped my Vespa LX125i for the TA in January. About 3 weeks ago I got my license and I've mainly used it for commuting.

When the renovations in our house are coming to an end this month (about 2 more weekends) I will take the bike for a drive in the Ardennes.

Tomorrow it will receive a big maintenance by a local shop and at the same time a center stand will be added.

Next on the list are engine guards and a new set of tyres.

    Cheers,
    Niels

Thumbs up Re: Show us your Transalp

    1991 "J" plated 'Alp, started looking like this . . . .

    Now, it looks like this . . . .

and after over 6 years of joint ownership by me, and both of my sons, it now shows 47k miles on the trip, and still going strong
but sadly may well soon be for sale
