Touratech offer firmer springs 'for improved control'.

A few washers under the fork top nuts increases the 'preload'.

The Dominator uses the same rims and tyre sizes but runs 33/36 psi.

Thicker fork oil would be like increasing the compression and rebound damping.

Mine's got 10mm spacers in the front forks, rear pre-load has also been increased 10mm (remove battery box for access to shock pre-load collars) and I run 32/36psi tyre pressures.

Didn't mess about with oil weight or 'air gaps'.

Bike sits a little taller (not a lot) and rides firmer allround.
