    Toolkit?

    Hi Guys

I'm new to the site and new to transalps. ( In fact, I pick mine up tomorrow). Can anyone help me with info on the standard Honda TA toolkit. Whats in it, does anyone have a photo, and where the hell on the bike is it if it's there?

( You can tell I'm new)

Someone else asked many moons ago about the toolkit (took photo a year ago).

No idea what's in the 600 kit but it can't be that different ?

The 'thing' is just an extention piece that slides over the spanner next to it for extra leverage (for rear wheel spindle).

The only important bit in the whole kit is the plug spanner, it's difficult to find an aftermarket one that fits.

Thanks again, if I need a plug spanner, is it possible to order one of these from a honda dealer. Or do you know anywhere that sells them.

I'll stop driving you mad in a minute.

Hi, the tool kit on the 600 (mine's a '91 model) is under the back of the seat on the left side almost under the wheel arch. It's locked by the helmet lock. & should open with the ignition key.

Looking at "wheeliebin's" photo, it looks exactly the same though mine obviously has some bits missing, namely the plug spanner & rear wheel spindle spanner.

    See ya
