    Strange request....

Anyone out there got a used Air Filter for a 650 Alp that's destined for the bin?

doesn't matter how soiled it is as I have a plan

I'll hapily send a couple of beer tokens to cover postage.

Hoping for a mega cheap but quality air filter solution for us all.

Uni Filter in Oz does a dual stage foam kit for the old filters, all you are required to do is cut the old filter media out and glue in thiers. Works a treat at a bargain price. They last forever.

    They're $36 Au plus postage.
To find the Honda Transalp 650 application, scroll down the page.

Sorry snagger I realise it doesn't answer your request in this post, but figured you might have an idea like this in mind.

Hi yep, I was interested in the Unifilter replacement, but another member chased that avenue a while back with no sucess, was it you fatjohn?

Hoping to find a quality foam car air filter, chop out the paper element and insert the foam.

Don't want to sacrifice engine longevity/reliability tho.

    I'll keep ypu posted.

    Yup,

Unifilter Oz put me in touch with their importers over here, who turned out to be a pack of muppets(they appeared to be more geared toward the chav car market) who didn't seem even remotely interested in getting me the part: no communication, long wait, phone them, long wait, no communication....repeat until fade.

So I politely told them to fug-ged-about-it and went for a K&N instead.
