    Accessories

Hi, I'm new here and new to Transalps.

I have been looking around to find a good place to buy accessories from, but can't seem to find anywhere good on the net. More specifically I am looking for a good tall screen, and a larger tank.

    can anyone help?

    Hi

I've got an mra variotouring windscreen on mine, which is considerably taller than the standard screen and has an adjustable section at the top that can be raised and lowered a few cms. I'm 5'8", and it is excellent for me.

Can't help with a bigger tank. Curious why you ask - the standard tank isn't exactly tiny. Are you planning some long-haul?

    Cheers

    Sorry this is for a 2003 650.

I'm 6 foot 2 tall, so I realise getting a screen that works will be difficult, but the standard one is terrible, and I've read that the Honda tall screen isn't much better.

I'm looking for a larger tank as I'm planning a trip down to and across northern Africa in May.

You'll not get a larger tank in the UK unless you find someone to fabricate one for you.
To buy from Europe try http://www.boano.com/
(look in his on-line shop under 'serbatoi' and polish up on your Italian)

I'm 6ft 2, have taller screen. Wind noise so bad round helmet that I went back to standard screen . Am hoping to buy/build a spoiler to attach to taller screen to change airflow (like touratech)

I find the TA noisy too, but think the answer is a lower screen or something to disrupt the airflow - but that could be worse. One day I will get round to ordering this stuff http://www.saeng.com/4000.htm

Yeah, but then we'd have to sit on the A/T forum listening to everyone whine about Honda not making our bikes anymore
