I have the same idea with INDIA for autumn 2010.
Did you do it in '09?

If yes plese share some experiences: visas, roads, routes, motorcycle service on the road etc.

A friend went on their Himalayas trip and really enjoyed it. Reckons is is quite demanding and for example mentioned that when REALY high up, had trouble breathing if the Enfield didn't fire up quickly... just the effort of kick starting was hard.
