You can buy insurance cover at the border post, don't know if it's worth anything in the event of a claim though. I got a green card extension to my existing insurance from Norwich Union I think.

    Re: Morocco or Bust.

Like Yen says these can be bought at the border and often cheaper. I paid 590 Dirhams = £37 in total for both the green card and the insurance. I was insured with Carole Naish but to include Morocco would have meant a change of insurer at a cost of £75 + Admin fee £30!! so I didn't bother

The morrocan cover was third party only as I think it's all they have over there anyway

02 RD07a RWB, Powerbronze tall screen, Remus Grand Prix, TT crash bars, TT pannier frame, Zega style panniers, Alpos top box,TT bar risers, TT headlamp guard, Heated grips, mainstand, Heidenau K60s for road and light offroad, TKC80s for the dirty stuff, Scottoiler, Autocomm, TT Zumo mount, Zumo 550 and most of all A BIG GRIN !!! Oh, and a very nice RD04 HRC coloured Marathon Replica

I bought at the boarder. It will get you into the country but I would question its validity in the event of needing to use it. Carol Nash provided me with cover on my recent change over from Benetts to them as a provider. I think it depends who underwrites your policy as I know other Carol Nash users who could not get it. Have a good one.

    Re: Morocco or Bust.

I paid 90 Euros at the border (Cueta) in October for 1month's cover. Its fairly negotiable as they started off with must buy either 3 months or 5 days cover. Just say you will take the 5 days but want 2 weeks really and you will find that things start to change. You will also no doubt by this time picked up a guide who will want his cut so budget on an extra 5-10 Euros per helper - and don't let them rope in too many helpers, I ended up with 3 but only tipped the 2 who had actually been helpful and still felt a bit mugged. But I was through the border in about 15minutes so it was worth it.

Thumbs up Re: Morocco or Bust.

Last time I went I got insurance at the border (Ceuta). 1, 5, 10 and 30 days were on offer. I forget how much I paid for 10 days, but it didn't seem like much of a rip-off.
It's not the age, it's the mileage...
