Greetings mon amis, Is there any details about the Stella this year?

July 14 Phil ,although since 2008 it's been made a lot easier and there is no longer full access to the original route . Still, if your aging, an'all old bones like me that's not so bad,last time I didn't make it up on the @ .

Any body planning to go there this year?
Any body know of a web site to the fore mentioned event?

Sorry about so many questions, but I am waiting for some body to change my tenna pants ( its an age thing)

Robster,one of our mob made it up in style on his Vara' I'd like to think it's because he's 20 years younger ,but there was also a guy on a crf230 who made it up.He was 70!! ( must be an age to weight to talent ratio thing ? )

SteveKTM950 made it up on a Varadero a couple of years back. No problem in the snow! There are lots of other routes to ride in the area apart from the ride up the stella route.

I know the track has been graded and widened in places but can anyone tell me or show me how much different it is since my last visit in 2007 please?

How far up can you get ?

I went in 2006 with a few mates (sadly one has pased away since) anyhow it was easy peasy - I even saw a Hayabusa on the top!!!
