Due to a change in my work state (no longer freelance), I have a bit more money and a bit less time.
One result is the planned trip to Spain and back is now a bit shorter - in time and in distance and is almost all in France.
Here's the new plan:
Saturday 18th April: Cross the channel (probably Calais) to Magny-en-Vexin
Sunday 19th April: Magny-en-Vexin to Ussel
Monday 20th April: Ussel to a little campsite I know just north of Carcassonne
Tuesday 21st April: Trip into the Pyrenees (Andorra and Spain?) and back
Wednesday 22nd April: Carcassonne to Aubenas via Millau
Thursday 23rd April: Aubenas to the Route Napoleon and up to Grenoble
Friday 24th April: Grenoble to Lyon, Moulins and Nevers somewhere
Saturday 25th April: Head north, round Paris
Sunday 26th April: Cross the channel again.
Distances: Between 200 and 300 miles each day
Speed: Slow-ish with plenty of photo stops.
Accommodation: Camping most nights
Food: Cooking at the campsite most nights, one or two meals out, bread, cheese etc beside the road most lunchtimes.
If you're interested, let me know. There are three or four of us fairly committed so far.
