Come on, at 35 quid you can road test one for the XRV crowd! Look on it as public service!

I am 5'11" and, as my good lady so delicatly puts it, "have become a real fat ******* this last year or so", so I guess that could count as a little more insulation around the middle than I should have aswell

The only real complaint I have about it is that when you have a really hot night (unlikely in the UK I know, but does happen sometimes) things can get a little sweaty in there, but on the whole for about 25 quid its bloody good

These women can be real cruel at times.... Gotta admit, that the overheating is one reason I like an envelope bag as it is easier to vent heat, or as my lad once put it after a camping trip with Scouts, "sharing gas"!

    Re: Tesco sleeping bags??

Found these comments on another forum about these cheapy bags.

    Tesco Bag

Several other forums have reviews though they do appear to be from fit sporty types on the whole, and it would appear that the bags seem to be more suitable for slimmer and shorter folk than me @ 6' and 14st!! Loved the one comment, "The shell material is very air tight and lofts up as you heat up, hence opening the zip to let the steam out! "

If you are 5.10 and not too hooked on ale, they sound brill for 2 season work

Doesn't seem like it when I find I need a new suit as the old one has shrunk since I last wore it....
