I have signed up for the April (6th-16th) level 1 offroad trip with Moto-Morocco. Just wondered if anyone else from this site is going or will I be outnumbered by theriders!!!

Sadly, not a cheap option. I just fancied having the LandRover around when we get away from civilisation (hopefully).
Keeping costs down a bit by taking my bike - running the 'Alp down from Santander. I have permission to take the slow long route back via Atlantic coast/Portugal & Picos so trip will be 1 month
Will try to oblige with a few pics.
im off in september on my xr650r
I'll be there from the 7th to the 20th, We'll keep a lookout for you. You won't miss us, me on a 56 plate Silver Transalp one mate on a GS1200 and another mate on Harley Night Rod which you'll hear coming from Algeria!! Have a good trip.
Hi RegH
Went with them in Sep.07.Had a great time.I was on my AT and was outnumbered by thes...at the end of the trip my AT was considered to be the best all-round bike on the trip as it had no breakdowns(3 brand new GSs had probs) and cost me 4 grand as opposed to the 10 grand paid for the shiny new bikes.
Heres a link to the trip report from the GSers uk website.

Spain,
Cheers M8, I am sure the trip will be a blast.
The TA has had a lot of TLC so hoping it won't let me down. Not sure if I am up to those Moroccan pistes though but that's the fun bit.
Spotted your thread on GSer some time back and it was what made me decide to go. Trip unfortunately starts/finishes in Spain now (Malaga) but we will get a run through the Rif mountains too. I think Bill is unfortunately way down on numbers for this one though.
Will try to get a few pics up when I come back.

I am so glad i done that trip.....it really was hard work and a steep learning curve for me as it was my first proper off-road but well worth the effort. The weather will be good in April..poss showers.I went in Sep. and the heat was unbearable what with all the gear on and wrestling the big AT over some rough terrain was tough...the TA should be easier .Have a good one mate..you lucky so and so.![]()
