Re: South of France

Beer always in the fridge. You can apply your own butt cream. Telephone on the way down to let me know approx time of arrival. No problem if it's very late. I've done the trip often enough to know the snags. If you leave Calais at 7.30 in the morning you should be in Buis approx 14 hours later. Have a good trip

Re: South of France

Hi,

first of all how are you dong now, hope your all sorted now.

thanks for the stay really enjoyed our stay with you, cant wait to do it again, but not in one hit dont think mi bum will take another ride like that lol.

Great place you have, great area for touring. Mont Ventoux was amazing unlike the crazy decending cyclists.

Verdon Gorge & Millau were both great, we came back early rode back from bordeaux all way home.

Want to do it again but alot different next time, it is like people say a massive country.

Paul

Re: South of France

Glad you made it back in one piece. France is a lot bigger than people think when planning trips. Your best part 1,000 mile non-stop was some serious hard assed trip. Ventoux, excellent!!! See you again, make us a touring base next time and take a couple of days down.

Ps the ticker's still working!
