spain offroad advice please

I seem to remember someone mentioning an offroad route which goes the whole length of spain, but I can't find the thread. Quite interested in this as a potential summer adventure, or maybe next easter.

Where can i find details of the route? Anything in English?
Would camping be feasible?
Would daytime temperatures be a problem?
Could I survive without speaking Spanish?!

Be very careful when going offroad in Spain.
In some areas, is prohibited too drive offroad. Other areas only allow to drive offroad in autumn and winter.
I don't know if there is a place were offfroad driving is not regulated or prohibited
