    Welsh Wales info wanted.

It's getting to the time for me to plan the May run that me and a few others do every year. This year I fancy 3 days in Snowdonia so any info regarding reasonably priced hotels, things to see and good roads to ride would be greatly appreciated. Hotels are needed as the females just do not do camping.

Hire a cottage from owners direct. Anglesey is a good base for Snowdonia/beaches etc.

Theres loads of interesting places round Snowdonia, depends what you're into... one place I would recommend if you like to go to places that aren't on the tourist trail is the Porth Wen brickworks, its on the North Anglesey coast and is a little difficult to get to but you can park on the side of the road, and walk for 20 minutes you get to quite an interesting little cove complete with whats left of a Leeds build steam engine and brick works. Hardly anyone goes there so although the beach is quite stoney its a great place to chill out and rather interesting to explore.

Link for some info on this is Porth Wen

A nice road I found when last over there is the A4085 from Pont Aberglaslyn to Penrhyndeudraeth, admitidly I was looking at it from a kitcar road point of view rather than biking but theres plenty of nice sweeping corners, its not too busy, and its almost all been resurfaced recently so nice and smooth.

    Great reply Peter!
Did you perchance write that book called "How to win friends and influence people"?

    Re: Welsh Wales info wanted.

2 key areas to stay would be Porthmadog and Llanberis in that order

Will cater for much sight seeing and tourist attractions and have more facilities / ammenities (shops for females !) than any of the more remote areas

02 RD07a RWB, Powerbronze tall screen, Remus Grand Prix, TT crash bars, TT pannier frame, Zega style panniers, Alpos top box,TT bar risers, TT headlamp guard, Heated grips, mainstand, Heidenau K60s for road and light offroad, TKC80s for the dirty stuff, Scottoiler, Autocomm, TT Zumo mount, Zumo 550 and most of all A BIG GRIN !!! Oh, and a very nice RD04 HRC coloured Marathon Replica

Looking at the title, just a couple of questions come to mind.

What other type of Wales is there?
Is there a Wales that is not Welsh?
