Transalp in the USA

Has anyone here taken their bike to the USA, does anyone know of the cost, its $2000 to hire a bike for three weeks so just thought it might be cheaper

Its a relatively simple process....I took the Varadero over last year to USA/Canada for a month. Depending on where u ship too your probably looking at £1500 return.

$2000 sounds cheap now doesn it Horses for courses.....
