Cool Riding my 125xlv to spain

    Hi all.
Just a quickie about the legalities of riding a 125 to Spain and back (via ferry ports to Santander). I have a full lisence (restricted for another 4 months) and cant afford to upgrade yet. There's bog all wrong with Baby V, so intend to ride her from Dover to Portsmouth and then from Santander/Bilbao to Benidorm and return a week later.
Does anyone know of any restrictions I may have in my path. I am fully comp and insured to ride on the Continent (EU). Full lisence (restricted to 33bhp).
    Cheer. Neil.

I cannot see a problem with that, I met some guys in Roscoff a couple of years ago on C90,s they had done Santander, to St Tropez, then van to Caen did the normandy beaches and then down to Roscoff, they each had a long length of plastic waterpipe to thrash the bikes uphills with though,

    Good on ya
Nothing wrong with bike size, it just restricts cruising speed.

I see no problems, I believe its only mopeds that are restricted to not using motorways.
I've chatted to bloke on the ferry before who regularly did a "Baccie run" to Belgium on a Dero 125 from Kent

Yes mate. I usually find the top box and a 50L rucksack is more than enough. Its about the same as I will get when I get me Deauville (one day, hopefully this yr).

Absobloodylutely, mate. One of my mates is a Ewan McCharlie and slags me all the time. I can get 72MPG, my bikes more comfy than his Triumph, easier to pick up (!?) 220 to a tank cruising at 65. She does go through chain/sprocket sets at a rate of 1 every 7k miles tho, but you cant win em all.
