Heading from Germany to Portugal

I'll be going solo from Tüddern Germany to Lagos Portugal beginning 2 July. Anyone have any tips? Will I be fine wild camping? Anyone care to meet up for a beer?

I've found Portugal requires some planning to enjoy. Get it wrong and you'll spend your time riding behind lines of trucks along the most boring roads at 50 kph (even areas that aren't built up) for hour after hour. The roads surfaces are pretty bad too. Do your homework and you may find unspoilt countryside, great trails and interesting places.
