    Open invite to poland

Right Guys I have dates 30th Aug to 7th Sept off for a trip.

Crossing at dover heading into poland to Oswiecim for a visit to Auschwitz. then onto Krakow for Schindlers factory, then if there's time and all is well over to germany to Berchtesgaden for the birds nest and back.

No real plans I play it by ear camp or cheap hotel when I've had enough riding, 250/300 ish miles per day is comfortable. 80mph on big roads if I need to get there or try to find the slow remote roads.

Just me, but if any one wants to join me your welcome.

    Any more info PM me.

    Thanks

    I'd love to come but I can't.

However if you are going to Auschwitz set aside a full day for that and take the tour which lasts about 4 hours or so. Even then there is still stuff to see that isn't on the tour so believe me you will need the full day. You will also walk for miles to might be better to leave the bikes and bike gear at a hotel and get a private car there. It's not too expensive.

On hotels I can highly recommend the Hotel Globus in Krakow. Cheap and very clean and right at the edge of the centre with the main square only a 5 minute walk away.

There is a hotel at the aushwitz site. Don't miss Birkenau when there.
