Mine's still standard. I'd rather spend my money on stuff like panniers than intangible things like noise!

My feeling exactly, my lads just put a Micron on his XR 125 and it sounds like a Domi when he takes the baffles out, Makes my ferocious cat sound like a meowing kitten!!!!! Time for the "Big Guns" me thinks!!!!!!

Ah but surely part of the fun of biking is the noise they make ,Trumper is just a bit too muted for my liking

True, but I can't afford non-essentials at the moment! I count engine bars, panniers, better screen and a more comfortable seat as essentials at the moment and I can't afford any of them right now.

Once I've got those sorted, it'll be extras like the exhaust, extra lights etc.

I rather like the raspy noise the standard can makes. Are aftermarket ones just louder or does the noise change?

I know what your saying,i need a better screen and comfier seat, but what i really want is a centre stand!

Panniers would be nice also,my Givi Maxia is big enough for one,but not two up touring

Im not really sure what the different cans sound like, only heard the standard, but louder would be nice, not tooooo loud though!

I agree, I was fortunate enough to buy mine with the panniers, topbox and tall screen, but if I carry on dropping it (3 times so far, but without damage) I'll certainly have to consider Engine Bars before the exhaust.

Yes he's just been telling me about it (he's just been here picking up stevec AT) made me even more determined to get a decent can now!
