Thats my next purchase when the bank manager allows me to, nice set of bars to protect the plastic that took me so long to source spray and fit.
What make are they and how much if you don't mind me asking
Not sure of the make, but they came from www.triumph-online.co.uk about £119 I think and they seem well made

Done it took me 40 minutes from start to finish. Left the rads in place, struggled a bit as you say with the left hand bolt but must have been lucky all went in place on the third try. No scars, I think they look the dogs and the price is right

Re: New Crash Bars Fitted

Much later than I had intended here are the details of the highway pegs as fitted to my Tiger.

I used a 600mm length of 18mm square tubing as the basis, the rust is optional!

The footrests were from a small Yamaha, I got them off Ebay for around £12 brand new. Take the nut off the footrest and weld it into the tube, adjust the rests until they are inline with each other and then weld the footrests to the nuts.

Next, take off the bar that links the bottom ends of the crashbars and centre it on the long bit with the pegs on and weld. Refit the link bar and there you are, cheap as chips and very handy on those long stretches of boring roads.

The pegs themselves are 105mm long, big enough for my size 11 plates!

Andy.

Re: New Crash Bars Fitted

Nice job.
I think I'd leave the rust as its a similar orange to the paint work!!!!
