    Crashbar dilemma

I'm definitely going to get a set of crashbars but really can't decide between the Triumph-Online ones in DC's thread or Hepco & Becker ones.
T.O are ex-stock but H&B about 10-14 days. Not a lot of difference in price but can't decide which look best (probably H&B?) or offer best protection (after all, that's what they're really for!).
Anyone got any thoughts please as Mr Indecisive can't make his mind up! And that's before we get onto heated grips which I'm still deciding on...

    Re: Crashbar dilemma

Is it just me, or are the H&B ones identical to the Triumph online bars, with an added crossbar in the round section at the front?

The guys of Poor Circulation (http://poorcirculation.blogspot.com/) rode their Tigers around the world with the TO ones fitted. Dropped them a bunch of times, without noticeable damage to the bike...

They don't seem to stick out as far when viewed from the front: See pic

In that case, I'd go with the triumph online ones... That distance could save your tank if the bars flex or bend on a drop...

That's what I was thinking. I think the H&B do look better (less obvious" but there seems to be little room for any flexing and I am buying them to protect the expensive bits rather than look pretty!
Plus, the RTW boys seem to have tested them fully!

Yes they do look very close to the tank don't they????....other than that they are identical apart from that rather odd looking cross member
