Well Triumph have succeeded in stopping me looking at the F800GS - hence getting the TA for now.

Most people do - I know I'm out on a limb on that one. I don't like turbines on bikes, and I also don't want 'refined'. Most do though, so it makes sense to build smoother engines. Hey, these days they've even started to add extra wheels too, so pretty soon we'll all just have miniature cars

This doesn't look bad though. I'll be very interested to see what the weight comes in at.

£6750 based on the fact that the on the road price for the F800GS is £7650........and the poor exchange rate will play into Triumphs hands in part (although I'm well aware that a lot of its components will be Japanese)

I reckon they'll come in a bit higher that than, but still below the 800GS. Most likely (as was the case with the 955 Tiger towards its end of life) they'll make the bike come well-equipped standard, not the BM bllx of extra this, extra that...

I'm going for £7,495, with centre stand, ABS and possibly heated grips...

'07 KTM 990 Adventure (Crash Bars, Scottoilter, 16t front sprocket, Throttle Cam. Colour: Black & Grey)
    '93 DR800 BIG (Fully farkled!)

    Gone but not forgotten:
'04 Tiger (MRA-Vario screen, Crash bars, K&N Airfilter, dual headlamp upgrade. Colour: orange, 'cause I'm Dutch, innit!)
    '93 ZZR600

I'm on the Safe House List! Garage and minor toolkit available...

Borrocks to the price . . it's Blitish, it looks like it's lighter than an @, does dirt & road . . .

SOLD to the man in the funny hat . . . .

Now, where did I hide that sack of used tenners. That and a garage clearance sale should see me ready to invite a Tiger Cub into the garage.

...I find their lack of refinement strangely appealing....
