Don't want to build your hopes up guys, but Ullapool isn't generally too bad for midges. The camp site is next to the sea and as long as there is a sw wind, the little buggers will buzz off elsewhere

Agree, Ullapool is on the coast and not too many trees at the campsite, so less midges!

Pleeeaaasssse come up to Ullapool, I'll take a day long run round Skye, I'll take a run anywhere for that matter. you won't be dissapointed. Ask Vader and Dave S. The roads are the dogs, realy. There's miles and miles of them,Ask Chad about the scenery.
We must be able to find some off road for you. (Bealach any one).

Go on, you know you want to. I'll have to come down and get you. Ill meet you at fort william and we can take the scenic route to the ferry at Mallaig.

There's sooo much.

I only covered 1700 miles at the last national, me and lowflier were just getting warmed up.

Yep!
Ullapool is a great choice - they sell Macallans in at least 3 of the pubs!
Morning ride to Lochinver - great breakfast in the seamans mission.

Stop for photos at the castle on the loch ? come back on the single track to ullapool.
