When are you setting off and which way are you coming up? Myself and Dogfart will be leaving the Borders on Friday morning so we could possibly meet you pair along the way.

This is starting to take shape now

Spoke to Derek (palerider) yesterday and it looks as though he's not going to be able to make it this year unfortunately.

Andy,CF, i was looking to set off around 8am to make sure i get there so i'm not pitching the tent at midnight. My satnav says 7-8 hours if memory serves me right so with a few stops for food etc i reckon that puts me in ullapool about tea-time, 1800ish.

That would be fine with me. I presume you would be heading up the A19?

If so I'll be at Perrys Service Station at 8-15, that's the service station north of the A689 juction on the A19. Is that OK?

I'm more than happy to ride with some Border Reivers if the Teessiders are, I recon it should take about 2 and half hours up to Galashiels (some nice sheep around there).

    Is that too late?

Ive never been to that Services but i do the A689 a lot so it should be no problem finding it if its just past there, if i set off at 0800 i should be there for 0820-0830ish.

I'm hoping to be in Windermere Wednesday night. I have to work 6am to 8am so would not plan to leave there until about 9am. How far north do you let expect to be if you're leaving at 7am.

I know I'd never catch up with Hudders but you you drop your bike a few time s DC I should be with you in time to help pick it up the third time.

If you can give me a time for meeting in Galashiels we will be glad to ride up to Ullapool with you guys. What route are you intending to take?
