Re: Thats me off to the National

me and Steve T met Barry yesterday in Alford 11.00 He was a tad late setting off from Aberdeen ( I think it was Ale related ).. Decided to make tracks up to his next camp site near Lochness. so Steve & I showed him some good roads .. two Alps and a loaded @ in the Highland sunshine.. Bacon and egg roll & a frothy coffee at the Firestation cafe in Tomintoolie.. ( think Barry need the soilds

Steve's ageing Alp needed running repairs on the exhaust joint .. my better looking and newer model.. running fine

Coffee and bics at Lowflyers then parted company.. Barry's new home made bins holding up well and his custom air hawk compensated for his sore heed

Not a drop of rain all day.. good fast solo ride back home just in time for Tea

Brilliant sunshine this Morning and high pressure forcast so if it hold like this up to the National.. he should have a Great week .. here's hoping

Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder!

And anyway, mine was running fine, even with the extra "vent" for the exhaust gases . Did sound a bit "tank"ish though - Bazza felt quite at ease riding behind it

See you all very, very soon.
