Unhappy ROLL CALL 2009 National Meet

    People

I'm very sorry to report that I will not be attending this years National.

I was really looking forward to riding up to Ullapool and discovering a bit more of Scotland, but I'm afraid finances and lack of work have put paid to my best laid plans.

Sadly, this will be the first National I have not attended, but I do wish all of you a safe journey and a great time.

    Regards

    Bob

    That's the wrong attitude.

Having no work means lots of free time, surely?

Come on Bob. I'll race you there.

Honestly Chris, I'm gutted I can't go, but I've had no work now for approaching 6 weeks now, which means the pinch I'm already feeling will get worse soon!

I reckoned on atleast 6 or 7 tanks of fuel, plus food, beer, camping etc, so I reckoned I'd be spending around £250 maybe, and I've just received insurance renewals on car & bike etc, so for the first time in my life I'm having to make some sacrifices.

I honestly don't know when I'll be enjoying my next plate of caviar or bottle of Veuve Cliquot !!

I'm afraid I won't be there either. Too much going on in September and I pushed my luck a bit too far booking to go to Germany with sean. So, while I'm gutted, at least it's not my fault. It's sean's!!!

Veuve Cliquot. My favourite. I use lesser brands - Mumm, Moet etc - in the fuel tanks of my @s.

    Toodle pip!

Claim the full costs of the Ullapool trip as a business expense. I'll talk to you about work briefly while we're there, if need be. That should satisfy the tax man.
