I'm as keen as the next guy but after using mine offroad a few times I think it would be too hard going for the Varadero. The lack of grip coupled with the weight I don't think I'd manage.
Hat's off to anyone who tries though, got to be the trip of a lifetime.
The official Stella alpina run is the week before, so I take it yours is a freelance run. Myself and a group of 6 lads are touring the Alps same week a bit north of there, Well let you know our schedule (when we've got one!) just in case you want to bump into us?

Ok, I've thought long and hard about this, I love a challenge, tell me more about this event, how far do I have to go? Do I still get the T-shirt? If it's too far I might just spectate!
I'd like to know if I have to go to the snow line? I'm from Scotland and see enough snow without seeing it in the height of summer!
I'd be planning sailing from Newcastle to Ijmiuden then across Holland to Germany, heading south to Switzerland. Unless you've a better plan? I see an adventure in the making here guys! Please tell me more.
Dont know that much myself ! only what i've read and seen on this site. However Iswoolley along with Fewtrees and a couple of others have been before, and im hoping to tag along with some of them.
Also my brother and my father are coming along, my dad has a MT-01 so wont be giong up the "hill" just having a good ride around the passes.

At that price I'd be expecting the "old nail" thrown in as well!
As I'm not taking my CB750KZ I'll give that a miss! But at least it confirms the date.

Well, sorry I can't help boost the Honda numbers for you mate, I've just bought a Triumph Tiger! I've written a quick review in my other post on this forum. I still hope to make the Stella though, just on a Triumph!
Best of luck mate.
