Yep, with the spoked wheels and 1000cc twin, it looks like the natural replacement for the @, almost like the carbed and FI vara's never happened.

I would definitely be looking for a test ride.

This pic has been doing the rounds, it's photoshopped bits and bobs from other bikes, see if you can spot them!!! Look here

I'd be surprised if it wasn't fake, though it'd be very cool indeed if honda were to make something like that...

Or even a badass "adventure" version next to the standard touring vara, like they do with the beemers.

Hmm. My mind just went "Varadero HP2". Hhhhhmmm indeed...

That's what I'm talking about! Something like that would be the perfect replacement for me.
I was looking at a picture of the red and black 04 Varadero and believe it may be a sweeter looking bike than the Tiger? Well, I've all summer to look so I'm gonna keep shopping!

for what it's worth and i appreciate not a lot - but the tiger sounds cool when you give it the beans!

not a great reason in isolation to buy a particular bike - but will slap a smile on yer mug!

not sure if it sounds as good as my AT with remus can tho'

bob bob bob bob bob bob bob vrooom - he he he!

I had a Lazer produro race on all my @T's, lovely sound. I miss that a little with the Varadero. I've only standard cans on it, too damned expensive for aftermarkets! No exhaust's worth half a grand!
Still not tried the Triumph, I've been avoiding it! Two days to go and the Varadero's back on the road though, I'll pop in at the weekend and see what Wullie's saying.

OK guys, after many years of fun with the Hondas I've finally bit the bullet and bought the Triumph Tiger. I pick it up beginning of the week so I'll let you all know how I get on!

Well any new bike is a cause for celebration! When do you pick it up? Will you post some pics? At least its a Triumph!
I think they sound great and look good. The Vara is a great bike but sometimes we all have to change...
One day I will sell my @ so it happens to us all...
