    Introducing myself

Hi everyone. Just thought I'd intro myself first before launching head first into lots of questions.
I currently ride a Ducati 749S and I'm selling it (hopefully) in favour of a brand new Vara.
So, if anyone wants to buy a really well looked after Ducati, I'm selling one.
    Cheers

    Hi there Rano!
Sorry, but I've had one of those contortion devices already in the form of a ZX-7, so I'm not really in the market for more pain.

I have had Honda Fireblade, Yamaha R1, Ducati 916 SPS, Honda SP1 trust me it will take you a whle to get into Adventure bikes, but when you do there is absolutely no going back.

THEY ARE FANTASTIC !!!!!! really good fun and so usable i have done 200 miles today on my 2000 Varadero and i feel as fresh as a daisy, could easly do it again right now.

    Good luck and welcome

Age my friend age. Not that I'm old, it's just that I've done that thing and want to move on. Lets face it, it just becomes an expensive one person toy that's used on weekends and evenings, never to be ridden in the winter. Whats the bloody point?

On second thoughts, I wouldn't mind a ZX-12 if I had the money. I sat on one about a month ago and it wasn't too bad on the bod.

One of the guys in my current Ducati gang has a ZX12. They are very heavy and the seat is monster wide. Me bing only 5' 8" had more of a problem with that than I have had sitting on avara for the first time today.
