    Touring Screens

Well, I never would've thought it would prove such a hassle to replace my screen with another tall black one!

Despite M&P showing whatever colour you want in their catalogue, on the phone they say I can only have clear or light tint - which isn't what I want. Nor do I want to wait 4 weeks for what I dont want!

Powerbronze themselves (who supply M&P) say the same, which isn't much help, and couldn't offer any explanation as to how my old Powerbronze screen was "Black".

    Sooooooooo....who else can I try?

I've looked at Pyramid Plastics, and they only offer a light tint.

There's Givi, but they only offer a light tint too.

The MRA Vario looks very cool and comes in a dark tint (which I suppose would do) but carries a hefty price tag of over £100.

    Who else does screens? Hmmmmmm........

The MRA Vario screen is very good, plus point that because it is variable you can have it adjusted so that the air flow is hitting you in the face, which is great in the summer.

spoke to a guy recently who has the MRA vario screen on his vara and he says it is really good. Think i'm going to get one for my @ and sell the powerbronze and standard screens to pay for it!

    Re: Touring Screens

Had a quick look on a couple german sites but they have mainly the mra screens for about the same money, also nothing on e-bay
might sound like a stupid idea and "I no noothing" but could you not maybe botch something like mra? Have you got any big pieces of your old screen left?
could use my old one to start and just somehow(I know there are a lot of good botchers on this site) attach another piece on top?
    No idea if possible
    but worth a look
They call him "Ze Quiet one"
I listen to what the rice crispies tell me to do

    Re: Touring Screens

    Cheers for the tips dudes.

Chad, it was deffo a Powerbronze Screen...said Powerbronze on it and everything!

Quite like the look of those Puig screens LV, I spotted a couple of those this afternoon. Was holding out for a Black one though, but doesn't look like it'll happen.

I may very well raid the Piggy Bank (again) and go for the MRA Vario.
