hello

dunno if anyone noticed the busters leaflet in the MCN but in the sale section near the back they are selling off the last of the varadero fenda extendas for £2 plus p&p of about £5 - which equates to a fairly cheap way of keeping more crap off the front cylinder!

i got meself one and asked if they had many left, the guy said that they had a few!

I had my slowly nuts tightened....now I go everywhere fast!

well are you all sitting comfortably?

i was having a look for new exhausts as mine were looking tatty etc and appeared to be emitting gas from somewhere other than the end!

saw loads that i liked but they were all pricey especially on the back of getting the valves done!

sooooo my mate Jonno said he has a former colleague who will fabricate some to fit my bike and make them so that they won't change the fueling but will sound a little fruitier!

he makes exhausts for all kinds of bikes apparently and can make them to any size and shape or he can cut down old cans and re-pack them etc!

i was asked loads of questions about size shape sound etc - so i said . . . . . . well actually my words were that i wanted it to burble purposfully around town and then sound like a scalded ducati when you open the taps!!

he laughed at me and said he woudl design something for my bike!

will post pics and let you all know whats what when i get it back!

Well the wait is finally over - i get the bike back tonight after delays waiting for parts!

in relation to the exhausts i have been told that the bike now sounds like a VTR 1000 with good road cans on!

apparently the cans were designed to suit the bike and the bike has been tuned a little to work better with the cans (lots fo things were said about polishing and then somethign about messing with the carb - most of which went over my head but will get the full rundown tonight!)

i will try to get some photos uploaded and if possible will record the sound and try to get that posted too!

expect the whole internet to crash when i do that!!
