Well , with 310miles on the clock , my Vara went offroad today !!

2 hours of greenlaning later and with a mega smile ( butt ugly grin, apparently !) on my face, I emerged victorious. .

Absolutley superb, loved every minute of it. The TKC's arrived today and the @ sumpguard. and the touratech barkbusters are on the way.

KaTie should be fully equipped by friday , ready for another session. .

Been there, done that... After two hours I'd covered, ohh, a couple of miles!!!

Assume you already have an engine guard, most of all to protect the radiators which are vulnerable in a drop.

Just very gentle lanes for my first time. Nick was superb, he only rode nice and steady and stopped and told me about each part of the track.

Got lots of protective kit coming for the bike , but this is novice laning and is fairly easy. When i get a bit better and both me and the bike are better protected then we'll step it up a bit

vara is a big bike and feels even bigger offroad. !!!!!

It was on some of the lanes you use, I belive you know Nick already, don't get an illusions , i am a proper novice but i learn quick.
